Mechnikov's skin care line is inspired by the father of Lactobacillus therapy Mechnikov, who is known for developing a theory that aging is caused by toxic bacteria in the gut and that lactic acid could prolong life. He wrote The Prolongation of Life: Optimistic Studies, in which he espoused the potential life-lengthening properties of lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus).

A hydrating toner helps to enhance moisture level in the dry skin by using moisture liposomes contained in hyaluronic acid. Keeps skin elastic and sooths it without leaving a sticky feeling on the surface of the skin. Toner helps to brighten and even out skin tone, has anti-aging properties. 

Blended with Quattro Biome™ (includes 4 kinds of pure probiotics such as Bifida Ferment Filtrate, Lactococcus Lactis Ferment, Lactobacillus Ferment, Streptococcus Thermophilus Ferment) and with pH 5.5 value, the toner improves skin’s condition and helps to defend against environmental stressors and free radicals that trigger loose skin, pigmentation, lines, and wrinkles. By reducing inflammation, probiotics help to take down redness and calm easily-irritated skin. Directions:

The toner comes with itself and a small hydrating shot that needs to be added to the toner in the beginning of the first use (one time only). Open toner's cap (with pumping part) and pour all the content of hydrating shot into the toner. Shake in up and down motion to mix in after closing the toner container.

Dispense an appropriate amount and spread it gently around the face and neck area. Massage softly for better absorption.
